General Rules
  • Any student reaching school after the first bell will not be allowed to enter the school premises. At the first bell, all must take their allotted places in silence for the morning assembly. After the assembly they are expected to go in silence to their respective classes.
  • A student coming late to school will not be admitted to class unless he/she brings a written excuse from home.
  • Student unable to rejoin classes after the holidays should take written permission from the Principal in advance. Defaulters in this regard may find their names stuck off the rolls.
  • No student is allowed to leave the school premises during the school hours without the written permission of the Principal. No student will be allowed to go home during the class hours unless one of the parents or guardian comes with a written application to fetch him/her.
  • Making unnecessary noise, running about, plying or shouting, yelling, howling, whistling etc. inside the school building is strictly forbidden.
  • Any damage done to the school property will have to be made in good condition and the expenses so occurring will be borne by the student.
  • Students should see that they do not throw pieces of paper, seeds etc. anywhere in the school premises. They should use the waste paper baskets and dustbins provided for this purpose. Eco observers appointed by the Principal will see that this is implemented.
  • A student whose uniform or appearance is untidy may be refused admission to the class. If a student is not in school uniform, he/she shall get a letter from the parent/guardian and shall get a note from the teacher in charge, in the TEACHER'S REMARKS (Page). This privilege should be availed of only in unavoidable circumstances.
  • Personal cleanliness and hygiene are expected from all. To this effect students should possess more than one uniform each.
  • The discipline in-charge assume responsibility of general discipline during outside classroom activities.
  • When the student has to move along the corridors, while the classes are in progress, they should do in silence.
  • No books-other than what is required for the classes or from the school library may be brought to school.
  • The school is not responsible for the books, money, clothes etc. lost. The students should look after their own things. They are advised not to bring any valuable items to school.
  • During the intermission, the students are not allowed to enter the classrooms.
  • Students are expected to take part in the co-curricular activities as and when they are asked to do so.
  • Within the school premises the students are expected to speak only English Language Observers appointed by the Principal will see that this is implemented.
  • Parents/guardians are expected to co-operate with the staff in enforcing regularity and discipline by seeing that their wards, prepare their lessons, do their homework as shown in diaries and by taking an active and helpful interest in the activities of the school.
  • Parents/guardians are expected to sign the remarks sent to them through the school diary. Student will not be admitted to classes if such reports are not duly signed by their parents.
  • Parents/guardians are allowed to meet the teachers for primary classes (Class I to IV) only on every 2nd Saturday. They are not allowed to meet the students or interview with the teachers during school hours or any other day without the written permission of the Principal.
  • Students are advised to use exercise books supplied through the school stationery for the sake of uniformity.
  • Riding along the roads or the playground of the school is prohibited.
  • Parking facility is granted to the students who come to the school on bicycle, Powered engine is not allowed for students.
  • Students are not allowed to bring plastic bags inside the school premises.
  • Nobody is allowed to bring or use mobile/cell phone, cameras or any other electronic gadgets in the school campus.
  • On class days and school functions the children are expected to wear the uniform prescribed for the season.
  • The children are strictly forbidden to purchase any article of food from un-authorized dealers near the school premises.
  • Books, tiffin boxes etc. should bear the name of the owner. The school is not responsible for stationery, books etc. that get lost.
  • The school will not be responsible if children are found missing after the school hours. Parents are requested to instruct their children not to go to the homes of friends and relations without their permission.
  • The student should not wear ornaments or jewellery of any kind in the school.
  • Parents may engage the teachers of the institution for private tuition only after due permission of the Principal is obtained. Requests for tuition may not be considered after the month of December.
  • Change of residence should be notified to the school.
  • The engagement of private tutors may prove injurious to real progress and' should not be made without consulting the Principal. Staff members may not accept tuition without the previous sanction of the Principal.
  • No collection for any purpose whatsoever, is to be started in the school, and no meeting, demonstration, party or picnic may be held without the previous sanction of the Principal.
  • Presents to the members of the staff or other demonstration in their honour require previous sanction of the Principal.
  • Students are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct both in and outside school. Hence misbehavior in public streets and conveyances justifies dismissal. Any reported or observed objectionable conduct is liable to disciplinary action.
  • Parents and guardians will bear the responsibility for the good conduct, home studies and regular attendance of their wards. The principal reserves the right to or not to retain such pupils who act otherwise than conforming to the school ideals in and outside school. Insubordination, contempt of authority, harmful conduct, irregular attendance, leaving the school premises without permission, lack of punctuality, unsatisfactory progress in studies, dishonesty etc., are sufficient reasons for removing a student from the school rolls.
  • Collections, for whatever purpose, require the Principal's sanction and all account of the same must be handed over to the Principal.
  • No certificate of any kind will be given without a written application from the parent/guardian. The application should be handed over at the School office at least 3 days before the date on which the Certificate is required. An additional sum of Rs. 100/- will be payable for any certificate issued after five years from the date of leaving the institution.
  • Students shall be liable to dismissal from school on any of the following grounds:
  • Inability to follow classes in English.
  • Continuous lack of progress in class and those who are detained twice in the same class.
  • Acts of indiscipline and insubordination.
  • Absence for more than ten days without application and information.
  • Immoral acts of stealing, damaging or misbehavior.
  • Non-payment of school fees.
  • Parent's misbehavior with teachers and school management. Conviction by a Court of law for any Criminal offence.
  • Parents should ensure that their wards do not bring any objectionable books, magazine, picture or any other material that may violate the disciplinary norms of the school. Otherwise the same will be destroyed in the presence of the student.
  • Parents are also requested to ensure that their wards do not bring gift except to offer for distribution on birthdays. Students from class VI onwards should be in school uniform even on their birthday.
  • Parents are requested to refrain from sending lunch boxes/ notebook of their wards during school hours.
  • Parents are requested to send their ward in neat and clean or small-size uniform. Students should not wear faded, over-size or small-size uniform. Girl students will wear skirt 1 inch below the knee, failing of which the child will be marked absent and sent home.
  • Parents are requested to inform the school if there is any change in address! Tel. numbers.
  • The school has a system of lunch break for junior classes. You are requested to ensure that the child carries rich lunch every day.
  • Please do not give mobile phone to your child. If student is found carrying a mobile phone, it will be confiscated and a heavy fine will be imposed.
  • The facility of internet is required to monitor the usage of this wonderful technology by your ward so that he/she must not misuse the internet access. It is advisable to route your' child's E-mail through your account and share their password. Also, keep the computer in a central family location, not in the child's room. The usage of computer should be a family activity.
  • Encourage your ward to take a balanced interest in studies, co-curricular activities and sports.
  • Criticism of a teacher of the school in presence of a child must be scrupulously avoided as it causes students to lose respect for their teacher with the consequent failure to learn from her, thus retarding the child's progress.
  • Refrain from giving regular pocket money to your ward. Encourage healthy breakfast and give home cooked food in your wards tiffin and regulate their sleeping hours to at least 8 hours a day.
  • Parents should acknowledge the circular sent from school in the column provided in the school diary.
  • Parents should use the "Leave Record" form in the diary when applying for leave or explaining the absence of their children.
