Examination Norms And Criteria For Promotion

Any student who is over-age according to the school's norm or is considered to have failed to qualify academically at the end of the academic year, may be required to leave the school.

Student who have spent two years in the same class and who fail to qualify for promotion to the next succeeding class at the end of the second year shall have to leave the school.

There will be two terminal examinations in each academic year. In addition, class test will be held during all the terms. Students must pass in these tests as the result will be taken into consideration for promotion. The Schedule for the tests will be intimated to the students.

Every student will be issued an Admit Card for each examination. These Admit Cards will be available before the commencement of each examination.

Parent / Guardian / Student must collect the Admit Card from the respective Class Teacher insuring the clearance of all dues by showing the fee-books. Student without Admit Cards will, on no account, be permitted to sit for any examination.

CRITERIA FOR PROMOTION

In order to pass, a student is required to obtain 33% in all subject. Failing in English will disqualify a candidate for promotion.

Subject to the regulation of absenting, students who are habitually absent from classes, or from terminal tests without genuine reason acceptable to the principal or his representative, or whose conduct or progress is otherwise unsatisfactory, if deemed by the principal shall not be promoted to the next class and the students will meet the desecration of the Principal, be required to leave the school.

Non-attendance in all the tests shall disqualify a student for promotion. Attendance at all the test is normally mandatory. There is no provision of any re-examination or re-test of any class assignment or terminal examination.
